10 - 5 - 19  Took the M train from midtown to Brooklyn to photograph Jo, age 26.   She says, "I identify as gender queer and use they/them pronouns.  I'm asexual, not sexually attracted to anyone.
Ultimately, I want to be myself".  Photographed her in b/w and color, outside the apartment building where she is staying and then we went up to her roof.  Interesting graffiti were on the walls and did the pixs there.  Beautiful day, sunny, mild and found it interesting to hear her perceptive on being
non-binary.

9 - 25 - 19  Sunny, warm day in midtown on Fifth Avenue, outside the Urban Outfitters store.  Snapped pix of he, she, they, other who is transitioning from male to female and lives in the Bronx.

9 - 16 - 19  Went to the Lower Eastside on Rivingston St. to photograph Kesley.  She's originally from Florida and is a young-looking 29 yrs. of age.  She told me she identifies as a non-gendered or other gendered.  "I do not identify exclusively as he, she or they.  But, I prefer they, but don't insist on it because I have spent the majority of my life being identified as a she.  Sometimes my style present a gender fluid.  I can look more feminine one day or more masculine another."  Here's pixs of her as her feminine side, wearing red high heels, make-up and red lips.  Her masculine side, sans the red lips and wearing a male overcoat and baggy jeans.  Her hair is cropped short, too.

9 - 3 - 19  Beautiful, sunny day in midtown, near the Library and Bryant Park, where I snapped pix of an androgynous person.  Likes to look like a he or a she or the other.

8 - 12 - 19  Photographed Mope.lola in the apartment that is shared with a friend.  Did the photographs in available light in her back room and up on the roof and in the stairwell.  Has a shaved head, is petite and 24 years of age.  Asked about being non-binary and said is the nature and lineage, identifies with them/they.  Prefers the fluidity of it all and in the attire that is choosen to wear.  Very easy to photograph and is very comfortable in front of the camera.  Is arty, creative and cool.

7 - 29 - 19  Hot day in midtown on Second Avenue, where I snapped pix of Tatiana, who said she was a male-to-female transsexual.    She mentioned to me that she works as a receptionist and was looking for a place to have lunch.
