Takes female hormones and had bottom surgery 8 months ago, now fully healed, had procedure done in a NYC hospital. She said that gender is complicated, her gender is joyfully, lifegivingly, color and flowers, transfemme, non-binary magic.

5 - 8 - 24 Yolanda is 33 years of age, is transfemme/queer and lives in Brooklyn with roommates. Started taking female hormones, always felt more feminine, but said others think she is more masc. She is comfortable with any labels, along being comfortable with her body to do a nude photo shoot today.

5 - 2 - 24 Went to Brooklyn to photograph Persephone who is TransFemme/Dyke, is 25 years of age. Graducated from NYU and is originally from New Mexico, came to NYU on a scholarship, studed theater. Started transitioning at age 21 years of age and is on female hormones. Very comfortable with her body and doing nude photos, which I put together as either a diptych or triptych.
