11 - 20 - 21 Went to photograph, DragQueen, KareemaPuff in midtown, while getting makeup done by a friend. Did the "in process" photos of applying the makeup to have the look wanted. Did photos with wig and with out wig and in partial outfit, which will be worn at the 3 pm performance at Bar Nine on Ninth Avenue in NYC.

11 - 13 - 21 DragKing, Electro, lives in Brooklyn and is originally from Connecticut. Started doing drag in September, loves the community, starting to get comfortable doing, hasn't done a performance yet. Liked my ideas of the suggestions to make her look more like a DragKing. Easy to photograph, easy to direct. I asked her if she had a dildo to put in her underwear and did so, happily. Loved her photos.

11 - 10 - 21 Went to NYC apt. of Avante, who is 20 years of age, from Ohio and going to school here. Very nice young man, creative, starting dressing up when he was 16, loves doing drag and performing. Very cool guy to photograph with his slithe body.

10 - 30 - 21 West to Brooklyn to photograph, Eldora who is a DragQueen, age 40's. Had a friend there who is a cross-dresser, Vale, who I also photographed. Love doing drag, very respectful and loves the photos that I gave to each to have.

10 - 29 - 21 Went again to photograph, Julian in Brooklyn. Is in the process of getting phalloplasty surgery. Wants to have the documentation and this was the first part of doing. The procedure is without cutting flesh from the person to do grafting, less invasive. Looking forward to seeing the final result.

10 - 28 - 21 Luna is 21 years of age, lives in Queens with three roommates. From California and has been doing drag for a short time. Said, "it's all about breaking rules. Doesn't want to be called a DragQueen, does and dresses as one feels. Easy to photograph in natural light and takes directions very well. Loves the camera.
