12 - 27 - 24 Louis is 26 years of age and is dragqueen, Angeldemonicanyc who performs in shows. He told me that he has a boring job, working in a grocery store chain and doing drag is a fun, creative outlet. He lives Brooklyn with his partner of 8 years, who also does drag. They are thinking about getting married. I photographed him in his bedroom and then up on the roof.

12 - 7 - 24 Ari is 30 years of age, is non-binary transmasc. Ari did top surgery in March 23, did not have a good experience at the hospital where it was performed, since Ari was released the next day. Ari lives in Brooklyn and works 4 jobs. Loves to perform in drag, which takes 2 hours to do, the look, to perform in drag. Feels very authentic, since having surgery and feels connected to the community of trans.

12 - 6 - 24 Went to Brooklyn to photograph TransNon-Binary couple, Maxx, who is 28 and Miles who is 26 years of age. They met last year at a Brooklyn club and are both now sober, after years of drinking. Mile had top surgery last March and Maxx is having top surgery in 2025. Miles was comfortable doing nudes and photographed solo and then both together. A very loving couple.

12 - 4 - 24 Sasha is 36 years of age, lives in Brooklyn and works at a high-end luxury store on 57th St. NYC. He is gender non-conforming, nonbinary and queer, who likes to explore his masculine and feminine sides of himself. I went to his Brooklyn apartment and photographed him, along his light and disco ball that he had hanging from a ceiling. He is from Siberia, Russia and won the lottery in 2017 to come to the USA, love living here for all the freedoms to be authentic. He cannot go back to visit his mother, since he would have to go into the Army and fight in the Ukraine War.

10 - 30 - 24 Went to Brooklyn to photograph Kylie, who is Genderfluid, but first told me Genderthing. He likes to mix everything up. He's 28 years of age and started doinng drag about a year ago. Has many friends who do drag and performs at varies clubs in Brooklyn and NYC. Said lots of fun and can explore his femme side and be creative.

9 - 26 - 24 Sam is 25 years of age, is TransMasc and lives in Brooklyn. Had top surgery in April and said his mother wasn't happy about doing the surgery. Sam had medical insurance from his job and went and did and loves it, feel very authentic. Does dragqueen shows as a hobby and has the trans community support, his tribe as he calls it.

9 - 25 - 24 BeBe is transfemme, lives in Brooklyn and is 23 years of age. Thought about transitioning in 2021 and started taking female hormones in 2023. Works remotely and has two roommates who are also trans.

9 - 18 - 24 Went to Harlem to photograph James, who is 36 years of age and is from Knowville, TN. Is a DragQueen who started dressing up and doing his makeup about a year ago. Was going to the clubs and seeing others performing, knew it was what he wanted to do, too. He is an exhibitionist and loves the audience and the community. Very creative, who has made some of his costumes.

9 - 10 - 24 Willow is 25 years of age, from San Francisco and lives in Brooklyn with two other trans. Started transitioning three years ago, takes female hormones and would like to get breast implants. Is not interested in doing bottom surgery, said like the penis, since is sexual as a top. Was very comfortable doing nudes and walking around the apartment nude with roommates there.

9 - 3 - 24 Kay is a transwoman, who is 29 years of age. She began transitioning in January 2022 and feels more authentic as a female. She takes female hormones, lives in Brooklyn with a partner. She is not interested in having bottom surgery, said isn't necessary to do, since it is a difficult surgery to have. Tall, slim and pretty.

7 - 18 - 24 Manu is 23 years of age, from Hawaii, came to NYC to go to college and graduated, is into theater and lives in the East Village. He came out in 2014, takes male hormones and is transman. He had top surgery last years and sometimes thinks about doing bottom surgery, but said the surgery is very well done. His parents are very supportive and came to visit him here, while he recovered from top surgery. Very creative, loves the trans community in NYC.

7 - 17 - 24 Chloe is 43 years of age and lives with a partner in the East Village. Started transitioning a few years ago and takes female hormones, is a transwoman. Always felts like a female, had breasts, even though the hormones are making them larger and penis smaller. She told me she lost 200 lbs. and is going for surgery on Monday to remove the excess skin, which she showed me and wanted to do "before" pixs. She wants me to return to do the "afer" pixs, once she is all healed in the Fall. Very sweet!

6 - 5 - 24 Dylan is 26 years of age, lives in the basement apartment of his family's brownstone in Brooklyn. Always knew he was gay and is non-binary who likes to dress in feminine clothes. He is comfortable walking the streets of Manhattan in his heels and dress. His parents are open to his preference and living his life the way that makes him feel authentic. He wants to be a model and is hoping that his goal is realized.

5 - 23 - 24 Justin, age 40, lives in Brooklyn and is genderfluid. He says, he has the mentality of a female and the physicality of a male.

5 - 22 - 24 Jessica is 37, M2F, Transwoman, started transitioning in 2021. She takes female hormones and wants to do facial surgery and bottom surgery. Lives on the upper Eastside of Manhattan with her cis partner.

5 - 9 - 24 Jocelyn, mxmaehem, is 40 years of age, lives in Brooklyn with her partner and two roommates. She started transitioning 5 years ago, is transfemme, non-binary. Takes female hormones and had bottom surgery 8 months ago, now fully healed, had procedure done in a NYC hospital. She said that gender is complicated, her gender is joyfully, lifegivingly, color and flowers, transfemme, non-binary magic.
